Kitzsteinhorn

The electric power station of the Kitzsteinhorn is a worthwhile visit. This site has impressed already 9 million tourists. The Kitzsteinhorn mountain itself offers a wide range of adventures and hiking possibilities. The summit station with its cable railway begins at 3029m and ends at the valley station at 911m. Here one can enjoy the many hiking trails.

Once again, a guided panoramic-glacier-hike is offered daily FREE of charge in July and August. One has the opportunity to get to know the world of the permanent ice at the glacier or do a simple circular hike in the middle alpine area of the Alpincenter at 2450m.

The Alpincenter is the ideal starting point for impressive hikes, like the Alexander Enzinger route to the Maiskogel or tours into the neighbouring National Park Hohe Tauern.
